Ethel Jackson Adkins, 84, of Fort Gay, WV died Sunday, June 10, 2018 at the J.J. Jordan Center in Louisa, Ky.
Ethel was born December 12, 1933 in Genoa, WV to the late Benjamin and May (Dingess) Rowe. Ethel was a homemaker and a member of the Upper Tabors Creek Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Homer Jackson, daughter Joan Judd, grandchildren Amanda Jackson and Freddie Tweedy, and siblings Luther Rowe and Mary Rowe.
Survivors include her children Tom (Judy) Jackson, Toni Shinn, Tim (Sherry) Jackson, Dale Bailey, Theresa (Martin) Hostetter, and Darlene Daniels; 15 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchilren; and siblings Frankie Smith, Vangie (Bill) Ray, Charlotte (Bruce) Caldwell, Irene (John) Caldwell, Linda (Bobby) Chaffins, Harley (Erva) Rowe, and Ellis Rowe and former son in laws Johnnie Howard and Jim Judd.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 6:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel.
