COACH’S COMMENTS
“… In the 2A Classic the run that we went on the kids had a look in their eye that they were focused on the task at hand and came through. Belfry, Floyd Central and Magoffin Co. all have nice teams so to win that tournament was impressive. Really proud of our kids for staying focused.”
“… Four or five teams in the state tournament are top five teams in the state including Bourbon Co. who is well coached and will be a challenge for us. Hopefully we can go down there and continue to play well put some icing on the cake.”
“… Our kids are excited about an overnight trip, it will be the seniors’ first one on the basketball side so it should be a good trip for our team. Should be good for team bonding plus they will get a couple good meals as well. We are going to spend 24 hours together and not just at practice or a game. Quality team time with each other. I’m blessed to step into a great situation with great kids and great parents.”
