CARTER COUNTY MAN ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH SATURDAY MYSTERY DEATH INVESTIGATION IN ROWAN COUNTY
SUSPECT FACING EVIDENCE TAMPERING AND CORPSE ABUSE CHARGES RELATED TO MAN FOUND DEAD IN VEHICLE FOR SEVERAL HOURS
A man from Carter County, Ky. was arrested over the weekend in connection with a criminal death case investigation in Rowan County, according to a Kentucky State Police, Post 8, in Morehead, Ky. press report that was released Monday.
The suspect, identified as Anthony Gerald Brown, 33, of Olive Hill, was taken into custody on early Saturday evening, April 11, and is charged with TAMPERING WITH PHYSICAL EVIDENCE and ABUSE OF A CORPSE.
KSP troopers with Post 8 said Charleston Harkess Cargill, 34, of Louisville, had been deceased for several hours in a car when his body was found Saturday. Investigators are working to find out when and where Charleston Cargill died.
THE NOW DECEASED: CHARLESTON HARKESS DIGGER, 34, OF LOUISVILLE, KY.
Charleston Cargils’s body was taken to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort for an autopsy.
The Rowan County Coroner’s Office is working with state police troopers to investigate their death case.
