LEAGUE PRESIDENT’S COMMENTS
“… The Lawrence county youth league is still going strong. With nearly 200 kids in our program, we are as strong as ever. It is fun to watch our former youth league kids now playing and cheering at the high school level. This year, I have the privilege of coaching the A team. With so many first year players it has been challenging, but so much fun. I knew it would take additional time to progress, but we are right on track to be ready when it counts, Playoff time.”
“… All teams are exceeding expectations and all kids are learning to love the game. Our cheerleaders have blown away the competition the last 2 weekends at their cheer competitions in Huntington and Vinson. I’m very proud of all our board members, coaches and volunteers who dedicate so much time for our children to make our league so great. We are continuing to build on the traditions of LC. All in LC!”
