Indianapolis, In — It has been a bumpy ride for the Lawrence Co.Cheerleaders this season but it was smooth sailing Sunday in the Hoosier Championship as the Ladies earned a bid to Nationals with a Runner Up finish at Pendleton Heights High School.
The squad turned in a great performance and were second out of fourteen teams only a tenth of a point from a championship.
They will make the trip to Orlando, Florida and compete at the ESPN World Wide of Sports on February 7th to 9th.

COACH’S COMMENTS
“… We are beyond proud of this team! They have spent 6-7 days a week in the gym to prepare for a bid to nationals. Our first competition this year was the Bluegrass Championship where we did not have our best performance. The girls knew that weekend they were not going to give up and were determined to show their full capability. Tonight, their dedication and determination paid off with 2nd place out of 14 teams and earning the bid to nationals. They are excited to set new goals and work to achieve them in February.”
