BOYD COUNTY MAN ARRESTED TWICE ON SAME DAY ( 9 HOURS APART ) BY THE LAWRENCE COUNTY SHERIFF DEPARTMENT

In the past 8 days from 3:15 P.M. November 8 thru to 5:18 P.M. November 16, there were at least 77 individuals who were arrested and were brought to be lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Out of those 77, 16 of those arrested were from Lawrence County.

That is in comparison to the previous 7 & 1/2 days, from 12:01 A.M. November 1 thru to 3:10 P.M. November 8, there were at least 96 individuals who were arrested and were brought to be lodged at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. Out of those 96, 20 of those arrested were from Lawrence County.

Three Lawrence County residents were arrested in other Ky. counties ( 1 in Johnson County, 1 in Morgan County, and 1 in Pike County ). That is compared to 6 Lawrence County residents busted and listed in the previous arrest report last week.

The number of inmates booked at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, Kentucky Saturday morning 9:00 A.M., November 17, was 237. On November 8, that number was 270.

The names and criminal charges of the latest 16 Lawrence County arrests, as well as the 3 Lawrence County residents arrested in other county jurisdictions, are the following:

Justin Fitzpatrick, 27, of Louisa, was arrested on November 8, 2018, at 8:24 P.M., by patrolman officer Shane James of the Louisa Police Department and was charged with:

• CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER,

• FAILURE TO APPEAR, CITATION FOR MISDEMEANOR ( 2 SEPARATE CHARGE COUNTS),

• NON-PAYMENT OF COURT COSTS, FEES OR FINES.

Kenneth L. Fitch, 44, of Louisa, was arrested on November 9, 2018, at 12:45 P.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Department, and was charged with:

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE),

• TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE – ( < 2 GRAMS METHAMPHETAMINE), • DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS.

Donald R. Dickerson, 32, of Louisa,was arrested on November 9,2018, at 2:36 P.M., by patrolman officer Hunter James of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:

• FAILURE TO APPEAR,

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE),

• TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE – ( < 2 GRAMS METHAMPHETAMINE),

Justin B. Brooks, 33, of Louisa; was arrested on November 9, 2018, at 5:25 P.M., by a trooper from the Kentucky State Police. and was charged with:

• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF, 1ST DEGREE.

Jason Prince, 36, of Rush, Kentucky; was arrested on November 10, 2018, at 10:32 A.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Department, and was charged with:

• LICENSE TO BE IN POSSESSION,

• FAILURE OF OWNER TO MAINTAIN REQUIRED INSURANCE/SECURITY,1ST OFFENSE,

• OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ ETC. .08 – 1ST OFFENSE,

Jason A. Hale, 38, of Louisa, was arrested on November 10, 2018, at 5:50 P.M., by patrolman officer Hunter James of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE (METHAMPHETAMINE),

• DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS,

• BAIL JUMPING 1ST DEGREE,

• FAILURE TO APPEAR, CITATION FOR MISDEMEANOR.

Tiara A. Curry, 38, of Louisa, was arrested on November 12, 2018, at 9:54 A.M., by patrolman officer Hunter James of the Louisa Police Department,and was charged with:

• POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE,1ST OFFENSE (DRUG UNSPECIFIED),

• DISREGARDING STOP SIGN,

• FAILURE TO WEAR SEAT BELTS,

Angela M. Mosle-Fyffe, 53, of Blaine, Kentucky; was arrested on November 12, 2018, at 11:31 P.M., by trooper Forrest Newsome from the Kentucky State Police. and was charged with

• PERSISTENT FELONY OFFENDER II.

Dustin L. Fyffe, 29, of Louisa, was arrested on November 12, 2018, at 11:48 P.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Department, and was charged with:

• ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) MINOR INJURY,

• FLAGRANT NON SUPPORT.

Kyle Hagaman, 32, of Louisa, was arrested on November 13, 2018, at 3:46 P.M., by a deputy of the Lawrence County Department, and was charged with:

William R. Skaggs, 34, of Louisa, was arrested in Morgan County, Kentucky on November 13, 2018, at 6:00 P.M., by an officer of the West Liberty Police Department, and was charged with:

Charles Hensley, 22, of Louisa, turned himself in and was booked in Pike County, Ky. on November 15, 2018, at 7:52 P.M. , at the Pike County Detention Center, and was charged with:
