COACH’S COMMENTS
“… It is a tough way to end. Going out in the last game not playing our best volleyball. You want to finish strong and do well especially for our seniors, but to also solidify the fact our program is progressing and heading in a positive direction.”
“…The journey this year has been great, though. We have had back-to-back double-digit win seasons. We set a goal of 85% serve percentage and ended 86.9%. We have a freshman, TK Ellis, who out of 372 serves only missed 7 ending with a 98.1% on serves. Sophomore Kyleah Ward led the team in kills and blocks. Abby Akers led the team in digs. Shelbie Hughes led the team with 64 serving aces.”
“…We have a great core group returning along with some younger athletes that will make waves next season. Of course we will miss our seniors, Lillian Kinser, Andrea Cochran, & Makayla Sparks as they were part of the record breaking group that had the first ever birth to regionals in 2018 and obtained the most wins ever in school history. We thank them for their contribution as we look forward to the future.”
