As Addiction Recovery Care (ARC) moves forward in opening Yellow Banks Recovery Center in Owensboro, the organization has hired Sarah Adkins as the center’s Administrator. Adkins brings more than a decade of experience in healthcare leadership.
Most recently, Adkins served as Director of Owensboro Regional Recovery, a Recovery Kentucky program. She serves on various local boards and committees, previously serving as chairperson of the Alliance for Drug-Free Owensboro and Daviess County. Adkins also worked for the Department of Corrections in Georgia, providing substance abuse services to probationers and parolees.
In her new role with ARC, Adkins will oversee all activities and functions on the Yellowbanks campus, with a focus on ensuring individualized, quality care for clients recovering from substance use disorders.
“We’re excited for the strong leadership qualities Sarah brings to the Addiction Recovery Care executive team,” said Tim Robinson, ARC’s Founder and CEO. “Her background in healthcare and knowledge of best clinical practices will ensure our clients receive the highest quality of care in Owensboro and Daviess County.”
“Coming to ARC as the Site Administrator for Yellow Banks is one of the most exciting opportunities of my career,” said Adkins. “I‘m thrilled to be part of a company that has been nationally recognized for innovation and I’m overjoyed to help bring this program to Owensboro.”
Adkins is a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor. ARC is planning a partial opening of the Yellow Banks facility later this year. Renovations are currently underway.
