ARC is proud to announce and welcome Amanda Newton as the company’s first Vice President of Marketing and Communications. Amanda will come on board to add a more robust approach to ARC’s digital, broadcast, and community marketing efforts. She will help ARC communicate its vision and change the narrative and perception of recovery.
“I couldn’t be more thrilled to be joining ARC. It’s an honor and a privilege to serve alongside everyone,” said Newton.
In her 23 years of experience, she has held various executive leadership roles in psychiatric hospitals, outpatient addiction treatment, and community mental health. During her career, she has worked in pharmaceuticals, lobbying, consulting, direct patient care, operations, and marketing. Her most recent accomplishment was designing Kentucky’s first-ever In-Home Addiction Treatment Program. This innovative treatment approach has been recognized as a game-changer in the addiction space.
“This is a great company made up of amazing people with real expertise, and I’m confident that together we will continue to build a successful company and save lives,” added Newton. “ARC has had a profound impact on the lives of thousands of patients throughout Kentucky. I’m excited to build on that legacy by elevating our brand to expand awareness on access to treatment.”
She has served on the boards of the Mental Health Association-KY (MHA), the Beacon House, and the Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA). She has received a Master’s Degree from the University of Louisville in Psychology.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, tiktoking, being a mom, and devoting time to her spiritual practice.
