Richard Korin, 73, of Fort Gay, WV went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 26, 2022.
Richard was born July 4, 1948 in Waterbury, CT to the late Michael Korin and Shirley Gaudet Bernabucci. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step father Dario Bernabucci.
Richard was a retired tile setter. He loved to travel, garden, and to can. Making jellies was his favorite hobby, If you ever met him, he gave you a jar of his jelly, and you were lucky to have enjoyed it.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years Paula Korin; children Keith (Cindy) Korin and Stephanie (Bob) Bruno; grandchildren Anthony Bruno, Nicholas Bruno, Madeline Korin, and Tommy Korin; sisters Doreen (John) Brown, Denise Bernabucci, Sharon (Paul) Healy, and Mary Jean (Jim) Otis; and many special nieces, nephews, and in laws.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Chuck Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Chiarenzelli Cemetery.
Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel.
