Orville Rowe, 91, of Louisa, KY passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center.
Orville was born December 8, 1928 in Tadpole, Kentucky to the late Henry and Esta Elizabeth Lowe Rowe. In addition to her parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Rowe, eight brothers, Grover, George, Sam, Ray, Liz, Kenneth, Joe, and Walt Rowe, and two sisters, Charlene Thompson and Nellie Shirley Preston.
He is survived by one son, Dallas Rowe; one daughter, Brenda (George) Price; six grandsons, J R (Jill) Cook, Stuart (Terrie) Cook, Brent (Kathy) Cook, Kris Rowe, Brandon (Ali) Stiegmann, and Seth (Lacy) Rowe; one granddaughter, Tristan Rowe; four great-granddaughters, Alissa Cook, Aubree Cook, Ashlee Rowe, and Addalynn Rowe; five great-grandsons, Brayson Cook, Peyton Rowe, Branton Rowe, Mason Rowe, and Riley Childers. He also leaves behind a host of nephews & nieces.
He was a Machine Operator for Columbus Coated Fabrics, former Lawrence County Magistrate, owner of Coal Trucking Company, and a former employee of CSX Railroad.
Private funeral services will be conducted on Friday, December 4, 2020 at Wilson Funeral Home with Dr. Charles Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery.
