I spoke with the Lawrence County Extension Agent Alvia Faris this week and she informed me of some of the events that they are having this summer.
She said starting on Wednesday July 22, 2020 and ending on August 31, 2020 ( with prize drawing) the Lawrence County Extension Office is hosting “Where’s Wally Cat” Scavenger Hunt. A picture of Where’s Wally Cat can be found in windows of local businesses and other places throughout the county.
The first clue and information to the hidden pics will be posted on the Lawrence County Cooperative Extension Office’s FB site, on Friday the 24th. You can take a picture and tag The Lawrence County Cooperative Extensive Service and use #whereswallycat to be entered into the drawing.
The Extension Office has been doing their “Programs on the Go”, giving many items for families to do different activities with, while staying at home with your family.
The Extension Office has also been doing the Farmer’s Market. They had their early sale on June 27th, and the Grand Opening of The Farmer’s Market on July 8, 2020. The Farmer’s Market is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9 a.m. to noon, or sellout.
what does this place do anybody ?
all i see is they take your money
If you didn’t stay inside your house, posting negative and racist comments with your computer all day, you’d understand what all the extension office offers. I’m being serious. Go outside and plant a garden or something.
Weezie can you explain what they do
maybe you are getting the free food vouchers they are giving out
P.S, it’s not free
