Gladys L. (Thompson) White, 81, of Mansfield, passed away Friday, February, 28, 2020.
Gladys was born September 14, 1938 in Wayne County, WV, to Charles and Inez (Webb) Thompson. She loved her family and her nieces and nephews were like children. Gladys enjoyed crafting.
She is survived by a brother, Johnny Thompson; and numerous nieces and nephews, including special niece and nephew, John and Carissa Fowler and John Fowler III of Mansfield, who were also her caretakers.
Along with her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Roy White; and siblings, Brenda Johnson, Joseph Wayne Thompson, Ralph Thompson, Charles Thompson, Anna Sue Bittinger, Leota Rowe, Leona Josephine Wilson, Virginia Hampton, and Irma Hayden.
Calling hours will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Werner Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Ave. East, Mansfield.
Calling hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Wilson Funeral Home, 1270 Highway 2565, Louisa, KY 41230. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Noah Robertson officiating. Burial will be at Thompson Family Cemetery, Ft. Gay, WV.
