On Saturday December 14, 2019 the town of Louisa had their annual Christmas Parade, withe the theme of “Christmas Blessings”. With the chill in the air and Jack Frost nipping at our feet, children still gathered to watch the parade.
They got to see Santa and Mrs. Claus riding along on a sled float throwing candy out to all the children. They also saw the mean ole Grinch, who was in a really good mood this year. He was even giving candy out and waving at the kids. Maybe being in the Lawrence County Christmas Parade got him into the Christmas spirit, seeing the Christmas lights of local businesses and happy sweet children. They saw Mayor Harold Slone riding with the police department, giving out candy as well. Thanks to everyone who made this event possible for our kiddos.
Are you having Christmas Parade this year ?
