COACH’S COMMENTS
“… We’ve had a tough week but I’m happy with how the girls responded tonight. We challenged the girls to come out and be more intense and they stepped up to the challenge and delivered the way we needed them to. We played with no intensity earlier this week and Ashland really made us pay so we knew with our district opener tonight we had to come out and get after it. The girls responded well to that challenge and we were able to come out with our first district win. We have another challenging week ahead of us. We have to get back in the gym and keep working to get better every day. It’s a marathon not a sprint. Proud of how we finished the game tonight.”
