Re: Request to the Lawrence County Board of Education for Creation, Abolishment and Changes regarding Positions

Request the following extra duty service pay be created effective November 19, 2019:

• Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office Deputies serving as Law Enforcement Officer / School Resource Officer ($25/hour; not to exceed $10,000)

Request the following position be abolished effective November 19, 2019:

• Maintenance Worker I (Classified Pay Scale; 40hrs/week; 258 days max)

Request the following positions be changed effective November 19, 2019:

• (1) Law Enforcement Officer / School Resource Officer – District contribution not to exceed $25,000 per officer to be employed by the Louisa Police Department and (1) Law Enforcement Officer / School Resource Officer – District contribution not to exceed $25,000 per officer to be employed by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office to (1) Law Enforcement Officer / School Resource Officer – District contribution not to exceed $50,000 per officer to be employed by the Louisa Police Department
• From Maintenance Worker I (Classified Pay Scale D; 40hrs/week; 258 days max) to (1) Maintenance Worker II (Classified Pay Scale F; 40hrs/week; 258 days max)
