2019 AUTUMN BLAINEFEST BIG HIT!
This year was the 9th Annual Autumn Blainefest held this weekend in Blaine, Ky. There was a big turnout for the parade, vendor booths and annual PIG roast for the community.
The parade started at noon with the Grand Marshall Larry Cordle and Constable Daniel Castle leading the parade with smiles and waves to the crowd.
This year the parade had Blaine Fire Department, classic cars, pageant winners, tractors, The LCHS Band, The Blaine Band, Lawrence County Food Bank, PTO, Floats and horses. Families watched from Kimber’s Grocery parking lot and the children enjoyed chasing down the candy being passed out.
Vendors included Lawrence County Sheriff Office, ARC, Cando FWB Church and arts & crafts booths.
Still wondering what for and when Mr Castle will run for office!
