Addiction is Losing Bible Rally
Addiction Recovery Care and RISEabove are set to host an Addiction is Losing Bible Rally. The rally will be held at Auxier Freewill Baptist Church on Sunday, October 6, 2019, at 6:00 pm. Help join the fight against the opioid epidemic through a night of worship and testimonies!
Aaron Montgomery, Chaplain Coordinator for Addiction Recovery Care, says the spiritual program at ARC is a pillar of who the company is. He says ARC’s mission is to place the Word of God into the hands of those who are overcoming significant obstacles.
“Since the Buy-A-Bible Program begun, we’ve managed to hand out about 1,000 Bibles to our clients in our residential and outpatient facilities.”
Montgomery says just this year, over 500 people in the program have accepted Christ into their life for the first time.
“The sword of the Spirit is the Word of God. If we don’t equip our clients with the sword, the word of God, how are they going to defeat the enemy when He attacks them.”
Addiction Recovery Care’s mission is to have peace in knowing that they have done all that they can to provide world-class holistic care to those struggling with addiction by creating opportunities for each person served, employee, and stakeholder to discover their God-given destiny.
If you are unable to attend the rally but would still like to help, you can text-to-give at 606-244-0696. Donors can text their donation amount (ex: $20) to our text-to-give number. After first-time giving, donating becomes as easy as texting your dollar amount to our text-to-give number.
“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12, KJV
