This morning at the Louisa Walmart, members of The Lawrence County Rotary Club gathered to hand out turkeys just in time for Thanksgiving. This club works hard year-round to raise money to help our community in so many ways.
The 2018 season was successful as though the Lawrence County Resource Center, 140 families will have turkey and give thanks to those who made sure they had something on their table.
“The Rotary Club of Louisa were proud to give 140 turkeys out to families in need in Lawrence County,” Rotary president Steve Lycans said. “The Lawrence County Schools Resource centers compiled the list of recipients and distributed them on our behalf. We thank all the resource directors for partnering with us to help Lawrence Countians in need.”
