Louisa, Ky. — After an 8-17 record in 2016 under first year Head Coach Kelly Chapman the Lawrence Co. VolleyDawgs are looking to improve on the win total.
With a lot of experience back and two talented juniors who have started since they stepped on the Volleyball court at Lawrence Co. in Lexie Workman and Aryana Chapman along with Senior Holly Rowe should make for an exciting season for LC.
The three Tri Captains in Rowe, Chapman and Workman will lead Lawrence Co. into a new district this season as the VolleyDawgs will play in the 58th with Prestonsburg, Betsy Layne and newly formed Floyd Central who combined 15th Region Champ Allen Central and South Floyd.
Floyd Central will be the favorite in the District and Region in 2017 with Lawrence Co. looking for that elusive Regionals appearance.
The VolleyDawgs will open the season at Home on Monday and Tuesday vs Fairview and with the first ever 58th District game vs Betsy Layne.
