The Louisa Rotary Club held it’s first meeting of 2017 on Thursday, January 12th. Everyone was back together and energized for the new year. President Lindsey Case took to the podium for the opening tradition that includes a prayer, the Pledge of Allegiance and 4 way test.
Aaron Thompson, Governor Matt Bevin’s field representative was recognized as a visitor, letting the community leaders know that they are there if any questions or problems arise.
The speaker was then introduced. Kentucky Power’s Larry Metcalf with the Commercial Efficiency Program. He spoke on the program and how it saves companies money for utilizing more efficient lighting, appliances, etc. when building or remodeling.
He explained the application process and the dates to apply for this program. He also brought along a jump drive with everything on it to help anyone interested.
After a quick Q & A, the meeting was then adjourned for the week.
