2016/17 Tolsia Rebels
Fort Gay, W. Va. — After a few down seasons the Tolsia Basketball team is back on track as the Rebels finished 13-10 last season under the direction of Mike Smith. Tolsia lost to Chapmanville in the sectional tournament at Logan it what some call their worst game of the year.
The Rebels return three senior starters including leading scorer Coty Jude along with Logan Presley and Jordan Johnson to bolster the attack. Jared Switzer, Brian Campbell, Brent Setzer, Trey Smith and Derek Meredith will all be in the mix for a starting spot.
Tolsia moves to single A but drops right into a section with defending state champion Huntington St. Joe and bitter rival Tug Valley who made it to the final four last season so the road to Charleston will be tough.
