SEX OFFENDER GETS 3 YEARS PROBATION IN WEDNESDAY CIRCUIT COURT SESSION

Most cases reset for next motion hour

A special Wednesday court day for Judge John D. Preston resulted in most cases being reset until next week, including Steven Price, who is charged with 1st degree Rape. Meanwhile 65 year-old James Moore was sentenced to 3 Years Supervised Probation for not complying with the Sex Offender Registry. Court was held yesterday (Wednesday) instead of last Friday due to Septemberfest.

The docket included:

James Moore, 65 Pled Guilty on charges of 2 Counts of Failure to Comply With Sex Offender Registration and Received 3 years Supervised Probation on one count and 1 year to be ran concurrent on the second. Persistent Felony Offender was dismissed. Final sentencing will be on 10-14-16.

Steven Price, 28 Set for a Pretrial Conference on the charge of Rape, first degree, Victim under the age of 12. Case reset for 10-14-16. 

Misty Blevins, 29 Was not present in court to face a Parole Violation for felony offense. Bench warrant issued. 

Melissa Castle, 29  Was present on charge of Probation Violation for felony offense. Reset for next motion hour.

Sierra Caudill, 31 Was in court on a motion to discharge from Probation or release from supervision. Her case was set for next motion hour.

Adam Fletcher, 34 Was present to report on charges of Complicity Receiving Stolen Property U/ $10,000. Reset for next motion hour.

Elizabeth Green, 46 Was present for pretrial on fraudulent use of ID card of electronic code for benefits.  

James Howard, 32 Was present for a hearing on a Completed diversion. Hearing set for 9-23-16.

Wayde Leedy, 21 Charged with Burglary, 1^st Degree and Assault, 1^st Degree. A trial date was set for 11-21-16, and a report date on 10-14-16.

Christina Lowe, 27 Was in court on Complicity Manufacturing Methampetamine, 1^st Offense. A trial date was set for 2-20-17.

Stephanie Martin, 44 Was not present for motion hour and a bench warrant was issued.

Ashley Maynard, 27 was in court on Complicity Receiving Stolen Property. The case was reset for next motion hour on 9-23-16.

Terri Sammons, 35 Was present on Complicity Receiving Stolen Property U/ 10,000. Case was reset for next motion hour.

Jason Short, 37 Reported on Complicity Manufacturing Methampetamine, 1^st offense and Persistent Felony Offender. Trial date was set for 2-15-17.

On separate case, Fleeing or Evading Police, 1^st degree, Wanton Endangerment, 1^st degree and Persistent Felony Offender, 2^nd degree. Trial date was set for 2-15-17.

Patrick Williamson, 46 Defendant was not present and bench warrant was issued.

Martin Wright, 41 Was present for motion for expungement. The case was reset for next motion hour.

Candy May, 23 Was present on Complicity manufacturing methamphetamine, first offense. Trial date was set for February 20, 2017

Wilma Shadd, 64 Was present for a pretrial on charges Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 2^nd degree, first offense, 1^st degree Possession of Cocaine first offense, Drug Paraphernalia- buy/possess and Public Intoxication Controlled Substance. Next court date is set for 9-23-16.

April Cook, 31 Was arraigned on Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument. Pretrial set for 10-14-16. 

Rodney Fletcher, 45 Was present for a pretrial conference on Complicity Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 2^nd degree, first offense. Next court date set for 9-23-16.

Nathaniel Houston, 21 Was arraigned on Fraudulent Use of ID Card of Electronic Code for Benefits. Set for re-arraignment on 9-23-17.

Justin Marcum, 29 Was present for a Pretrial Conference on Complicity Trafficking In a Controlled Substance, 2^nd degree, 1^st offense. Case reset for 9-23-17.
