Carpooling to and from Columbus from N.E. Ky. strongly encouraged
Jobseekers in and around Louisa, Ky., will have the opportunity to apply for positions at an out-of-state wall pouring company on June 2.
Lacko Poured Walls, in Columbus, Ohio, has an immediate need for laborers in the field of residential concrete foundation, poured walls, and floors.
A job fair for the company, hosted by the Eastern Concentrated Employment Program, Inc. (EKCEP), the Kentucky Career Center, Northeast Community Action Agency, and the Big Sandy Area Community Action Program, has been set for Thursday, June 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Lawrence Community Center, located at 205 Bulldog Lane, Louisa, Ky.
Lacko’s open positions are full-time positions, with a starting pay of $16 per hour. Work will include setting wall panels and forms, pouring concrete, and removing panels. A Class A or B CDL is a plus, but is not required.
Relocation is also not a requirement as car pooling will be strongly encouraged to Columbus from the Big Sandy, Northeast, and Tenco areas, so that candidates can work through the week and be home on weekends. Benefits will include healthcare, holiday leave, uniform funds, and overtime pay.
Please bring an up-to-date résumé and ID with you to the event. For more information, contact Bonnie Conn at the Lawrence County Kentucky Career Center at 606-638-4949.
