LOUISA, Ky. — A Lawrence County Grand Jury met and handed down indictments on November 10 including Arthur Winfree, who is charged with three separate charges for sexual abuse of a minor.
Following is a list of the charges the grand jury handed down.
Commonwealth vs. Christopher Curry
The Grand Jury charges that on or before February 16, 2022 in Lawrence Co, Ky, the above named defendant:
- Christopher Curry committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a schedule I controlled substance, Heroin.
- Christopher Curry committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a controlled substance, Methamphetamine.
- The above named defendant committed the offense of possession/use of drug paraphernalia by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of an altered sniffing/inhaling device containing chemical residue.
- The above named defendant committed the offense of public intoxication by knowingly and unlawfully by being in a public place manifestly under the influence of a controlled substance, or other intoxicating substance to the degree that he was a danger to himself or other persons or property, or unreasonable annoyance to persons in his vicinity.
Commonwealth vs. Pamela Mathieu
The Grand Jury charges that on or before October 25, 2022 in Lawrence Co, Ky, the above named defendant:
- Pamela Mathieu committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a controlled substance.
Commonwealth vs. Johnny Kirk
The Grand Jury charges that on or before July 1, 2022 in Lawrence Co, Ky, the above named defendant:
- Johnny Kirk committed the offense of theft by unlawful taking over $500 by knowingly and unlawfully taking a pull behind trailer, owned by Twin Rivers Wholesale of Lawrence County, Ky, with a value of $2,610.
- That the defendant having been charged in the instant indictment with the above felony count(s) is now being charged as a persistent felony offender in the second degree.
Commonwealth vs. James Jude
The Grand Jury charges that on or before August 17, 2022 in Lawrence Co, Ky, the above named defendant:
- James Jude committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a controlled substance, Methamphetamine.
Commonwealth vs. Robert Music
The Grand Jury charges that on or before March 12, 2022 in Lawrence Co, Ky, the above named defendant:
- Robert Music committed the offense of theft by unlawful taking over $1,000 by knowingly and unlawfully taking $1,039.88 in items from Walmart of Louisa, Ky
Commonwealth vs. Eric Mosley
The Grand Jury charges that on or before August 5, 2022 in Lawrence Co, Ky, the above named defendant:
- Eric Mosley committed the offense of burglary in the third degree by knowingly and unlawfully entering and remaining in property owned by Carrie Wages of Louisa, Ky with the intent to commit the crime of theft

The Grand Jury charges that on or before June 29, 2022 in Lawrence Co, Ky, the above named defendant:
Eric Mosley committed the offense of burglary in the third degree by knowingly and unlawfully entering and remaining in property owned by Bradley Gilliam of Louisa, Ky with the intent to commit the crime of theft..
Commonwealth vs. Clinton Offenburg
The Grand Jury charges that on or before October 29, 2022 in Lawrence Co, Ky, the above named defendant:
- Clinton Offenburg committed the offense of assault in the second degree when he intentionally caused serious physical injury to Deborah Murdock of Louisa, Ky by means of dangerous instruments (hands and feet).
Commonwealth vs. Arthur Winfree
The Grand Jury charges that on or before September 1, 2021 through November 30, 2021 in Lawrence Co, Ky, the above named defendant:1.
1.Arthur Winfree committed the offense of sexual abuse in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully subjecting a minor under the age of twelve to sexual contact with said offenses occurring against a vulnerable victim in a continuing course of conduct by engaging the above referenced acts two or more times between September 1, 2021 and November 30, 2021
2. Arthur Winfree committed the offense of sexual abuse in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully subjecting a minor under the age of twelve to sexual contact with said offenses occurring against a vulnerable victim in a continuing course of conduct by engaging the above referenced acts two or more times between September 1, 2021 and November 30, 2021.
3. Arthur Winfree committed the offense of sexual abuse in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully subjecting a minor under the age of sixteen to sexual contact with said offenses occurring against a vulnerable victim in a continuing course of conduct by engaging the above referenced acts two or more times between September 1, 2021 and November 30, 2021.
Commonwealth vs. Homer Hale
The Grand Jury charges that on or before July 30,2022 in Lawrence Co, Ky, the above named defendant:
- Homer Hale committed the offense of trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of more than 2 grams of Methamphetamine, $434 in cash monies, baggies and digital scales with the intent to traffic in that Methamphetamine or by trafficking in that Methamphetamine, while in possession of three shotguns, three pistols and a .22-caliber rifle.
Commonwealth vs. Eric Mosley
The Grand Jury charges that on or before August 9,,2022 in Lawrence Co, Ky, the above named defendant:
- Eric Mosley committed the offense of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a 16 gauge shotgun after having been previously convicted of a felony.
- Eric Mosley committed the offense of cultivating Marijuana over five plants when they knowingly and unlawfully cultivating over five plants.
- Eric Mosley committed the offense of possession of a handgun in possession of a .22 caliber rifle after having been previously convicted of a felony.
- Eric Mosley committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a controlled substance, Methamphetamine.
- Eric Mosley committed the offense of possession drug paraphernalia by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of syringes and altered spoons containing chemical residue.
