CELEBRATING APPALACHIAN HERITAGE: HERITAGE HARVEST TOUR 2022…

On Saturday September 24, 2022 from 9AM to 5PM the Lawrence County Extension Office in Louisa, Kentucky and the Boyd County Extension Office in Catlettsburg, Kentucky celebrated Heritage Harvest Tour where you can enjoy scenic Appalachia as you drive our beautiful roads enjoying 9 stops along the way during the annual Heritage Harvest Tour 2022.
Learn about the Appalachian Heritage and the way it has impacted agriculture as we know it today while visiting working farms along Rural Route 3 in Lawrence County & Boyd County Kentucky. There is so much to enjoy on the Heritage Harvest Tour.

At the Heritage Harvest Tour fall decorations like mums, gourds, pumpkins & scarecrows — tasty treats to take home like jams, jellies, honey, apple butter & sorghum re available. Great items to buy like handmade soaps, lotions, candles, handcrafted items & more.
Heritage Harvest Tour has Antiques & unique shopping to enjoy along the way and stop at some of our historic churches that will be serving up some good old-fashion dinners while you travel the tour.
Beautiful scenery – great stops full of history about these beautiful hills while you enjoy a weekend drive here in Eastern Kentucky.
