Lawrence County Emergency Management got some much needed PPE’s to distribute to businesses like the Fire Department and the schools recently. Chris Cox Emergency, Manager shown above, will be distributing face masks, face shields, and even special suits to Lawrence County.
State Representative Kathy Hinkle, also shown above, was instrumental in getting the equipment which is meant for first responders and consists of 200 units. Here is a quote from the group responsible for the donation:
” We mailed 200 KN95 masks on Friday via USPS (to support postal workers). Please let us know if first responders and healthcare workers in your district will need further assistance and we will procure more masks or other needed PPE for them.
These masks are donated by a local nonprofit Doctors for Healthy Communities (DHC) in partnership with a national organization Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent of Northern America (APPNA).
We would appreciate if you could send us pictures and if possible video clip upon distributing the masks so that we could share with our partner national organization. Any mention on your social media will be highly appreciated.
Thank you.
