7 and 8 year-old brothers playing with pistol
LOWMANSVILLE, Ky. — Seven year old Blake Andrew Case, and his 8 year old brother, Ethan Case were playing with a loaded gun at their home in Lowmansville, Ky. when the weapon discharged and fatally wounded Blake on July 3rd.
Blake passed away later at Paul B. Hall Medical Center.
The tragedy occurred at the home of the Case Family on Sunday, near the Lawrence County, Johnson Co. line. He was the son of James and Amanda Case and attended W. R. Castle Elementary School.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 July 7th at the Jones-Preston Funeral Home in Paintsville, KY. No charges have been filed and none are expected.

Blake Andrew Case, age 7, of Lowmansville, KY passed away Sunday, July 3rd, 2016 at Paul B. Hall Medical Center. He is survived by his parents, James and Amanda Honeycutt Case; one sister, Madison Case and one brother, Ethan Case all of Lowmansville, KY; his maternal grandmother, Patricia Ferguson and his paternal grandmother, Donna Case. Blake was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Marvin Honeycutt and his paternal grandfather James Andy Case.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 7th, 2016 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Joseph Hall officiating. Burial will follow at the Sam Sites Cemetery, Boonscamp, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July, 6th, 2016 and 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 7th, 2016.
