Pikeville, Ky. — It will be a rematch of last year’s 15th Region Championship game after Lawrence Co. took care of Pike Co. Central 81-68 in the semifinals on Saturday afternoon at Appalachian Wireless Arena in Pikeville.

Kensley Feltner led the Bulldogs with 29 points, Kaison Ward connected on 4 three pointers and finished with 22 points, Sophie Adkins tallied 16 points, Leandra Curnutte added 9 points, Abby Nelson netted 3 points and Madison Artrip chipped in with 2 points.

Lawrence Co. made 7 three pointers and went 20 of 25 from the free throw line.

Pike Co. Central ( 16-15 ) was led by Hannah May with 23 points, Abby Hess 15 points, Emalie Tackett 14 points and Abby May 6 points.
The Hawks hit 3 three pointers and went 17 of 25 from the free throw line.

The Bulldogs ( 29-5 ) have won 12 games in a row with the last loss coming on January 31st at Home to Pikeville 68-53.
The Bulldogs will play Pikeville ( 28-5 ) for the 15th Region title on Sunday afternoon at 3:00 after the Panthers beat Martin Co. 69-19 in the first semifinal Saturday afternoon.
Pikeville defeated Lawrence Co. 46-43 in Overtime last season in the Region title game.
