Editor’s NOTE: This is the fourth in a series by Lazer crime reporter Wade Queen concerning habitual offenders in the Lawrence County area. The objective is to get help for these individuals that has not been forthcoming from Commonwealth AttorneyAnna Melvin, or Judge John D. Preston or anyone else. These crimes mostly hurt the individual and their families but also put the general public at risk. It is time that an effective system is put in place to get these habitual offenders off the streets and into an effective program that will protect them and the public.)
