While the ambulance and fire department were en route to the location
911 received a second call stating that the juvenile had become combative
and had retrieved a firearm, threatening to shoot people and then fired
shots toward subjects.

At that time the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office was dispatched as well as the Kentucky State Police. While law enforcement was en route the caller stated that the juvenile had fired multiple shots.

A short time after the arrival of law enforcement the juvenile was taken
into custody without incident. The juvenile was lodged in the Boyd County
Juvenile Detention Center. No one was injured in the incident.

An investigation is being conducted by Chief Deputy Mark Wheeler and the
Lawrence County Sheriff's Office. They were assisted at the scene by the
Kentucky State Police. Netcare Ambulance Service also responded to the
scene as a precaution and Blaine Fire Department was placed on standby.

Chuck Jackson is the only one of the bunch down there that isn’t so crooked that they will have to be screwed in the ground when the die like a cork screw. Mark Wheeler is the dirtiest one of the bunch. And no I have never been arrested and have never been in trouble in my 38 years of life. I was once a very prominent citizen of LC who has given a lot to that city, both physically and monetarily. As a whole the city continues to diminish every time I come back there to visit and I see it. Drugs have taken over and it all starts with your Sheriff Garrett Roberts which is just as bad if not worse then the other dirty cops there. LC better really get it together bc they aren’t one step ahead of Fort Gay right now.

Chuck is a liar, he has used the system to make people think he is this better than you cop, his past is coming back to bite him on the #$%, if Lawrence County people cant see that then they get what they get, he switched parties cause he thought that would help him, but LC is still a democrat county not republican, plus when Greg Fugit files to run for sheriff then chuck should drop out cause he cant hang with him, Greg will win the primary hands down.

This arrest is long over due. This young boy and four more. Are out all hours of the night.Going up and down our roads. In front of our house on four wheeler's. Running wild and all of them on drugs. The parents are to blame. They let them do what they want. They could care less what they do.I call it a case of bad parenting. Hope they arrest the other four. And they will be peace on our roads again in Martha. All I can say is the law never comes out and tries to catch them. No matter how many times they are called. The law could of stopped them from running around and doing drugs!!!

Step on up and walk a mile in the law's shoes. Just because the law arrests them doesn't mean that the court will do anything with them. Not to mention law can't stop them if parents aren't willing to step up and be a parent.

My opinion (which I'm entitled to) is that chick Jackson is the better of the deputy sheriffs we got right now. Chuck is a family man, a hard worker and honest too, not many people can say that all about 1 person. I've seen him take on 2 or 3 jobs just so his family can make it, good fellar right there

Now I wonder why the Chief Deputy would be putting that in front of his name...could it be for election purposes lol. I also wonder if that’s the same reason he’s trying to get his name on arrests made. Seems pretty obvious lol.

You must not have a clue or pay attention to anything. He has been on most of the indictments and arrest for years just not recently. He has put that in front of his name since January 2011 when he was promoted to that position. Plus if you look at the Sheriff's Office webpage it has it there too. If the others want there name out there on the arrest and indictments then they need to put some work into it.

If you read all of the indictments and most arrests turned in have Mark Wheelers name on it. Way before election ever started. The other officers are just as able to turn in arrests, Chuck Jackson just had one on top about a pedestrian. Why didn't you comment on That one?
