Lawrence man gets 23 years as Persistent Felony Offender
DATE: 1-19-17 — The Lawrence Co. State Courts building was full on Friday the 13th being the first court session of 2017. Hon. Judge Preston handed down steep sentences as the docket was full of drugs, theft and one man received 23 years in prison on Persistent Felony Offender enhancement.
Richard Bowen, 26 was arraigned on BURGLARY, 1ST DEGREE, ASSAULT, 1ST DEGREE, ESCAPE, 2ND DEGREE AND PERSISTENT FELONY OFFENDER. A public defender was appointed and Pretrial date set for 2-10-17.
Vanessa Dillon, 28 was present on a PROBATION VIOLATION ON A FELONY OFFENSE. A hearing was set for 1-27-17.
