In God We Trust - Established 2008

January 19, 2018

Good morning!

We have a great opportunity to partner with People Advocating Recovery (PAR) to participate in a Narcan Giveaway tomorrow (Saturday) at the Lawrence County Health Department at 4pm.

As you already know, NARCAN SAVES LIVES. We hope that you can be a part of this monumental day! Each kit dispersed has the potential to keep someone alive until they can experience the wonderful life of recovery. Narcan is also used to save the lives of someone in the general public who is accidentally exposed to high powered opioids.

Also - Charlotte Wethington (the mother of Casey Wethington - as in Casey from Casey's Law) will be one of the guest speakers.

This is a public event so feel free to SHARE AWAY!

Feel free to contact me with any questions.

Matt Brown

Call our treatment helpline at (888) 815-4330.

Epi-pens save the lives of many who, through NO fault of their own, have life threatening allergies. Even with my insurance, I must still pay almost $300 for TWO injectables. Because of the expense, the ones I have are outdated because I cannot afford to buy more. Why not use resources to offer these life saving meds to those who need them-even at a cut rate?!?! A junkie's life is no more important than anyone else's......

I'm sick of paying for adults bad decisions. Let the relatives buy Narcan and follow their kinfolk around waiting for them to od. Stop wasting First Responders ,EMTs and police officers time dealing with those who devote their lives to getting high. It is what it is. Its become a noble cause to prolong addiction as long as possible. I know police officers who think the same thing.

How many Epi-pens saved the life of someone who repeatedly and illegally abused drugs? How many cancer patients and their loved-ones have lost everything they own, trying to pay the bills accrued from radiation and chemotherapy treatments? How many drug addicts went right back to using drugs after they were saved by Narcan? When you can give my wife the medications she needs to fight that terrible disease for free, I will support giving Narcan to the druggies.
Don't ever presume to know how much I or anyone else may care for their loved ones.

Anyone who thinks this is a bad idea or questions why we should obviously has never had a family member or friend -at least not one that they love - in active addiction. They have obviously never worried about whether their son, daughter, brother or sister will wake up the next day or not. These people either are callous, uncaring human beings or are simply ignorant of the issue and this medicine.

I mean, hey, shouldn't the epinephrine (epi-pen) that saves so many kids from a horrible death by anaphylaxis be given ONLY to doctors?

Please don't let people like that stop you. Don't let fear of judgement by others keep you from doing what you know is right. I can't honestly say that I am a Christian but I have a hard time believing that those who are would ever condone letting their fellow human beings die when they so obviously are at a point in their lives when they need help the most.

If you have ever went to bed fearing something like this happening with someone close to you that you love, Go get some! Its free and it might save your loved one's life!

Everyone should have Narcan. To make sure we keep all the junkies going as long as possible. Generations of dependent drug addicts. Then you wonder why the increase of heroin users and continued overdoses.

Shouldn't this stuff only be in the hands of law enforcement and emergency medical personnel?
