Taylor Shea Pinson

2011 -- 2018

Taylor Shea Pinson, age 6, of Canal Winchester, Ohio, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus.

Born April 10, 2011 in Lexington, KY, she was a first grade student in Miss Irwin’s class at Indian Trail Elementary.

She is survived by her parents, James and Stephanie Pinson; sister, Laurel; brother, Ethan; grandparents, Rhonda Cox, Jeff Bartram, Alice and Christopher Martin; great-grandparents, Ethel and Albert Pinson, Blanche Maynard; aunts, uncles and cousins.

Preceded in death by her grandfather, Rick Pinson; friend, Landyn Nix; cousin, Kaleb Pinson; and great-grandparents, Emma Bartram, Wilda and Jim Boggs.

Friends may visit 2-4 & 6-8 pm Wednesday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 550 Hill Road N. (St. Rt. #256), Pickerington, Ohio, where funeral service will be held 12 noon Thursday with Pastor Jim Boggs officiating. Interment after at Violet Cemetery in Pickerington.

David Bartram

1943 -- 2018

David Bartram, 74, of Fort Gay, WV went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 15, 2018.

David was born November 25, 1943 to the late Claude and Leah Bartram. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by daughter in law Bernice Bartram; grandson Stephen Bartram; and brothers William Bartram, Daniel Bartram, James Bartram, Dewey Bartram, and Ricky Bartram.

Survivors include his wife Mary (Hall) Bartram; children Pamela Jean Bartram, David Claude Bartram II, Thomas Lonnie (Nicole) Bartram, and Wesley Curtis (Patricia) Bartram; grandchildren Monica Marcum, Anthony Fitch, Ronnie Block, Katrina Thomas, Erin Fitch, Kimberly Fitch, Michael Bartram, David Bartram III, Joseph Bartram, Athelena Bartram, Olive Bartram, Bradley Bartram, Quinten Bartram, Alita Bartram, Zander Bartram, and Wesley Bartram, Jr; 10 great grandchildren; and siblings Mary Webb, Julia Kitts, Helen Marcum, Douglas Bartram, Milton Bartram, Walter Bartram, and Mike Bartram; and a host of other relatives and friends.

David was an avid beekeeper and loved to play the banjo.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 19, 2018 at 3:00 PM with Brother Frank Copley and Brother Lemmie Little officiating. Burial will follow in the Copley Family Cemetery.

Visitation for Mr. David Bartram will be conducted Thursday, January 18, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home.

Lida E. 'Lida Lu' Blackburn 

1917 -- 2018

Lida E. Blackburn (AKA Lida Lu), age 100, peacefully entered the Kingdom of God on January 9, 2018 at Monterey Nursing Home in Grove City, dOhio.

Lida was born on February 25, 1917 in Blaine, KY. She was one of 18 siblings and grew up on a farm where she learned to love animals; horses especially. She was married to Paul Thompson (deceased) and John A. Blackburn (deceased). Lida spent many a day at Beulah Park where she enjoyed great friendships and horse racing. She owned the horse "Pud Muddles" which gave her such joy. Lida was a fun-loving, spunky, strong, determined, loving and lovable person who will be greatly missed.

She is also predeceased by her parents, James and Rena (Tilson) Hardy, many siblings, step-sons, Dean and Dwight Blackburn and step-grandsons, Christopher and Darwin Blackburn.

Lida is survived by her step-son, Duane (Tina) Blackburn, step-grandchildren, Thomas (Shae) Blackburn, Angela Blackburn, Tony Blackburn; great niece, Sherry McFadden and her best friend and caretaker, John Wilson. She is leaving behind 17 step-great grandchildren and 3 step great-great-grandchildren. Lida will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, her easy laughter and accepting nature.

The celebration of Lida's life will be at Newcomer Grove City, 3393 Broadway on Saturday, January 20th, where the showing is from 10am -12pm.

It will be followed by a special service led by Pastor Bret Rizzo. Interment will take place on Saturday following the service at Hamden Cemetery, 39580 St. Rte. 93 in Hamden, OH.
