Garnet Lynn Gartin

1964 - 2011

Garnet Lynn Gartin, 57, of Louisa, Ky. went to be with her Lord on Saturday evening November 19, 2011 following a brief illnes. Garnet was born October 30, 1954 in Louisa, KY, the daughter of the late Donald and Emily Hall Hewlett. She was a seamstress with Cintas.

Survivors include a daughter Mortisha Pack of Genoa, WV, a son Keith Gartin of Louisa, four sisters Donna Vanhook of Cynthiana, KY, Emily Ratliff and Dorothy Moore both of Louisa, Vicki Hogston of Fairmont, GA; two brothers Jack Hewlett of Catlettsburg, KY and Eddie Hewlett of Webbville, KY.; five grandchildren Jesse and Austin Ratliff and Christopher, Jonathan, and James Gartin.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday November 22, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Wilson Funeral Home by Bro. Tommy Kitts and Bro Glen Robinson. Burial will follow in the Hewlett Cemetery at Fallsburg, KY. Friends may call after 6:00 pm Monday at Wilson Funeral Home.

Lowell Creech

1931 - 2011

Lowell Creech 80 of Blaine, KY passed away Saturday November 19, 2011 at his home following a long illness.

Lowell was born Feb. 11, 1931 in Paintsville, KY, the son of the late Lonnie and Virgie Frazier Creech. He was a retired United States Mail Carrier serving 43 years.

Survivors include his loving wife Mary Grim Creech, a son and daughter-in-law Raymond and Kathy Creech of Staffordsville, KY; a granddaughter Amanda Creech of Louisville, KY; two brothers Sam Creech and Lonnie Paul Creech both of Blaine, KY.

Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Lenny Wheeler on Tuesday November 22nd at 11:00 am at the Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Creech Cemetery at Blaine, KY.

Friends may call after 5:00 pm Monday at the Wilson Funeral Home.

Eugene Triplett

1940 - 2011

Eugene Triplett, 70. of Louisa, Ky. November 12, 2011 at Kings Daughters Medical Center. mr. Triplett was born in Louisa on Nov. 18, 1940, a son of the late Jessie and Nola Blankenship Triplett. He was a coal miner and U.S. Army Vietnam veteran.

He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Darlene Triplett.

Surviving are two daughters; Kayla Stroud, of Savannah, Tenn, and Carolyn Damron of Louisa, Ky., two sons; Timmy Triplett, Ashland, Ky. and Joseph Bartram, Louisville, Ky., five sisters; Shirley Burchette, Huntington, W.Va., Janie Burchett, Avonella Fitzgerald, and Martha Chaffins, all of Louisa, Ky. and Arlene Thompson, Georgia, two brothers; Alan Triplett, Webbville, Ky., and Therman Triplett, also of Webbville,; six granddaughters and seven grandsons.

Graveside services were conducted today, Nov. 14, 2011, at Blankenship Cemetery in Webbville, Ky. under the direction of Young Funeral Home, Louisa, Ky.
